earthbound-angels: egoartinc: LOVE this. Fashion meets serious calf muscles! Recently stumbled upon this photo of Misty Copeland. I first learned of her over ten years ago when I saw a special about her on 60 Minutes. After beginning ballet at 13 years old, she trained for just four more years before joining the American Ballet Theatre studio company. She became a full company member just two years later and is now the first African-American dancer to be promoted to soloist at ABT. I’ve just always been interested in her story ;-) JL team misty.
